Our department is committed to providing post-secondary candidates with opportunities to learn and develop the practical skills needed to serve effectively as a school counselor.  Each school year our team will select candidates who meet the established criteria to serve an internship within the elementary and middle school settings. Internship Application Process

• Candidates will send in a letter of interest to the Director of Student Support Services explaining why they would like to obtain an internship position within the Sparta Township School District. 

  • The letter must provide information about their post-secondary program, the number of internship hours they are seeking, and the preferred school setting.

  • They must also submit a current copy of their resume or curriculum vitae, and a copy of their transcripts for review.
