Grades will be recorded on report cards for parent(s) or legal guardian(s) notification in accordance with Policy No. 5420​ and Regulation No. 5420. Students earn a letter grade and department grade in each class. Report Cards will be issued at the following intervals: Conclusion of Marking Periods 1, 2, 3, and 4. Report cards can be viewed and printed from the Parent Portal.

Reporting Student Progress: Grades
The following grading scales and indicators shall be used for Grade 6 to Grade 8:

A+ = 98-100, A = 93-97, A- =90-92
B+ = 87-89, B = 83-86, B- = 80-82
C+ = 77-79, C = 73-76, C- = 70-72
D+ = 67-69, D =63-66, D- = 60-62
F = 0-59

INC = Incomplete – Course work pending and must be completed within 2 weeks of report cards being posted.

Honor Roll Criteria
High Honor Roll

• Student must earn all A’s in major subjects

• No grade below a B in any other class

• World Language will count as a major subject
