Participation in any extracurricular/co-curricular activities is an important part of the educational process. A balanced activities program is an essential component in the achievement of the educational goals identified for the Sparta Middle School. Through these activities, we believe in teaching our young people high moral standards, integrity, discipline, character, sportsmanship, citizenship, and the importance of teamwork. The Sparta Middle School assesses these programs annually in order to serve the greatest number of students.
Sparta Middle School offers a wide and diverse selection of activities that are available to students throughout the school year. We encourage all students to get involved. These activities often change each year and those changes are indicated at the start of each year.
Many clubs meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Late buses run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The buses pick up at 4:30 pm. The late buses run by neighborhoods and your child may be dropped off at a different stop than their regular stop but within your neighborhood.
