National Honor Society

  • The National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization that recognizes juniors and seniors who exemplify high standards in the areas of character, leadership, scholarship, and service. Students are invited to be considered for selection if they achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher. Members are selected by a faculty council who review the candidates' forms and essays written on a given topic. Selectees are formally inducted at a ceremony held in April or May. NHS activities include peer tutoring, ushering for the fall drama and the spring musical, and running the annual blood drive.
