    • November 7, 2023: Election Day and Teacher In-Service - Schools Closed
    • November 9 & 10, 2023: NJEA Convention - Schools Closed
    • November 22, 2023: Early Dismissal
    • November 23 & 24, 2023: Thanksgiving Break - Schools Closed
    • December 22, 2023: Early Dismissal
    • December 25 - 29, 2023: Winter Break - Schools Closed
    • January 12, 2024: Teacher In-Service - Delayed Opening
    • January 15, 2024: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - Schools Closed
    • February 16, 2024: Schools Closed
    • February 19, 2024: Presidents' Day - Schools Closed

    Emergency Closing Days Note:
    The Sparta Township Public Schools Board of Education reserves the right to change the calendar in response to extreme weather scenarios and other emergency situations that might arise during the course of the school year. This calendar includes 5 emergency days. If additional emergency days are utilized, they will first be taken away from spring break. If those are exhausted or additional emergency days are used after April 14th, days will be added on to the end of the school year.
