Michael A. Rossi, Jr., Ph.D.
Entering his 30th year Dr. Rossi has spent his entire professional career in education. He began as a teacher, became a supervisor, a building principal, and is currently in his 13th year as a public school superintendent. Dr. Rossi also spent 5 years as a full time Education Professor at Centenary University. During these years, he has been an assistant and head basketball coach at both the high school and collegiate levels. Dr. Rossi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Moravian College, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Tufts University, a Master of Arts in History from Montclair University, and earned his doctorate from Seton Hall University.
During his career, Dr. Rossi has led numerous seminars and presented on a variety of topics in the teaching and learning field. He has produced several articles that have been adopted by a variety of scholarly journals, and his dissertation is on improving faculty evaluation through training and is a published action research study. Dr. Rossi lives in Independence Township, New Jersey with his wife of 23 years, Deb. They have three children, Kaitlyn (22), Michael III (20), and Lily (16). The family also has three dogs (Vince, Charlie and Dakota). He enjoys music, exercising, a good book or movie, and is a lifelong fan and season ticket holder of the Green Bay Packers.
