Dropping Off Your Child?

Students should not be dropped off before 9:00 a.m. unless they are participating in a scheduled program.  If you find it necessary to drop your child off before this time please contact the K.E.E.P. organization and make the appropriate arrangements.

When dropping your child/children off please proceed to the rear of the building and use the cafeteria door.  This door will be monitored by a staff member, but not until 9:00 AM.  This will alleviate cars and buses from crossing paths and thus creating a much safer procedure for the students.  Thank you and we appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

When dropping your child/children off for band or chorus you may utilize the front doors.

Picking Up Your Child?

If you are picking your child up after school please follow the driveway to the rear of the building.  Park single file on the right side of the driveway. Please enter through the cafeteria doors, not before 3:30, and sign your child out with the attending teacher.

If you arrive between 3:00 and 3:15 a list will be generated and students will be called to the office at 3:15.  Those arriving after 3:15 to pick up students will wait until school dismisses at 3:35, their child will be directed to the cafeteria, and they will exit through the cafeteria.

Is Your Child Walking To Or From School?

Student should not arrive before 9:15.  Those walking home on a permanent basis will be dismissed at 3:40.  The students that need to walk to an appointment or utilize the Library will be dismissed after the buses depart.

The street in front of the building is a public roadway.  Please do not designate your child as a walker and pick him/her up on this street.  This creates an extremely dangerous situation and can be avoided by following the pick up procedures outlined above.

These procedures will minimize class disruptions and provide a safe environment.
