Careers and Further Education
The Guidance Department utilizes a variety of tools to assist students in their quest for career and further education information. Our Guidance Office houses hundreds of catalogs on local, regional and national colleges/universities, scholarship/financial aid opportunities and technical/professional schools. We also have a videotape/CD library of colleges/universities and other professional schools available for overnight or weekend viewing.
Additionally, students have the exclusive use of Family Connection from Naviance, a web-based service designed especially for students and parents. Family Connection is a comprehensive web site that you can use to help make decisions about further education and careers. Naviance is a service that we will use in the Guidance Office to track and analyze data about our students' college and career plans.
