The No Child Left Behind legislature (NCLB) maintains that parents have the right to inquire about the qualifications and HQT ( Highly Qualified Teacher) status of their inquire about the qualifications and HQT ( Highly Qualified Teacher) status of their child’s core academic teachers. The district and each school are required to notify the parents annually of this right. All the Sparta Public School teachers proudly meet the definition of Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) for the year 2009-2010.
